Thank you for your interest in commissioning a piece of original artwork. I have been selling graphite & colored pencil portraits since 2014, and in 2020 expanded my practice to include watercolor, acrylic, and graphic design. I have experience in human and pet portraiture, natural illustrations of animals and plants, landscapes, scientific diagrams, and logo/decal designs.

- I’ll need to know your preferred medium and size of the artwork.
- Tell me your goals/ideas for the piece (i.e., high-contrast, somber wintry tones, sentimental anniversary gift, whimsical and fairytale-like, hyper-realistic, has a border composed of smaller scenes, metallic gold paint flecks, emphasize eyes, etc. )
- I am happy to brainstorm ideas with you, or you can leave details up to me!
- You can pay me 30% upon signing the contract and 70% upon completion.
- I will give you a time estimate in the contract & keep you updated throughout the process.
A few patrons have requested that I make a “speed art” video of their artwork, usually if the portrait is a gift for a family member. The video shows how the portrait comes to life. I can overlay it with music, the person’s favorite poem, a book excerpt, or you can send me a recording of a family member’s voice. These videos are usually 2-3 minutes long.

**Note: If your design involves a small subject and a lot of blank page space, I will not charge you the amount of a “full page” and will let you know what I think is a fair price.
